just got the phone and when i go to answer a text msg from a rogers # it shows a msg on the screen

Reply via same service centre yes/no

not sure if this is normal as we tried at the Fido counter with other providers #'s and another rogers one and it didn't come, also erased that contact and reentered it to.

any help would be great

Check you SMS settings....

1 - make sure the SMSC # is +15149931123

2 - check to see if there is additonal option that allows you to select which SMSC # to use to send

I'm having the same issue. I checked the SMSC # and it is +15149931123. What else can I do?

Have you tried to reset your phone's settings? Did it help?
