I received a call today from someone purporting to call from Fido Marketing offering $53.00 a month for IPhone 15. The lady says Fido has asked her to call all customers to upgrade their phone. She then dispatched me to Fido's Order Taking department. The man who responded is asking for my middle name as it appears on my driver's license, my address, date of birth and email address. I promptly hung up. Is Fido really asking their Marketing Department to call its customers? Why doesn't the Marketing Department have access to customer's information if they are current customers?
