Iphone wont send text messages

does anyone know why all of a sudden my phone stopped letting me send text messages?? it was working fine 3 days ago..i can still recieve texts and calls and make calls, but i just cant send text messages, and i havent sent 50 texts yet so i should still be able to send texts..

Hey everyone!

 

       Although this thread is quite old, I'd like to add a little update since I came across it. When & if you were to find yourself unable to send text messages from an IPhone then i completely suggest you to follow the steps below which can help to resolve it.

 

 1. Settings > messages > imessage ON > Send as SMS ON

 2. Hold Power & Home Button together & only release them when & after the Apple Logo appears.

 3. Send yourself a text from your phone. If received then the issue is resolved.

 4. If not received then i suggest to contact Fido Support.

Hi Crystal_L,

 

Are you still experiencing this issue?

Have you tried turning your device off and on?

If your calls work and you can receive SMS there is no reason for it not to work.

 

Let us know if the problem persists.

This is true.You use the same signal for voice and text..you just get charged sepperatly for it
