Iphone 5 Unlock

i purchased a second hand iphone 5 locked to fido from someone.

how do i unlock the phone to use it with virgin?

i have the unlock code for the phone - purchased from theunlockshack

iPhones don't use unlock codes to unlock so hopefully you didn't lose too much money for an unlock code that has no purpose.

To have it unlocked, the quickest and cheapest way to unlock it will be to call fido and have it added to your account (the IMEI) then wait 90 days and call them again and pay them $50 to unlock it.
