Iphone 3G suddenly gives no signal

My Iphone 3G suddenly stopped giving signal. It works on all other apps. Tried registering new sim card. Still not working. Phone is jailbroken and was working OK. Any help appreciated.

Have the same problem with my 3GS. I did upgraded the OS, reset network settings. Nothing worked. I randomly lose my signal and then it comes back 1 min later. Very annoying.

I noticed this problem started happening when the LTE network went live, Was your problem recent?

Hi there randrent,

Did you try resetting the network settings? (settings - general -  reset - reset network settings)

If that doesn't fix it, try restoring the phone via itunes.  

Also, in what city/area are you in?  perhaps you lost signal due to a network outage or maintenance,
