Home phone service sounds terrible!

I have the Fido home phone device with a Panasonic cordless set. Lately we've been getting complaints that the outgoing sound is really bad, static, tinnie or garballed. I know the Panasonic is good as it was on a Videotron system before and worked perfectly. Everything I read so far seems to point to the Fido device, any help would be appreciated, thanks

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with your Wireless Home Phone service, but we'll be glad to look into it! 

To better assist you, I have a few questions.

What color light do you see on the modem (green, yellow, or red)? 

Also, have you tried plugging your phone in the second jack on the device? If not, please give it a try and let us know that goes!
