I just hooked up with Fido with my new Galaxy 24, which i was told I would have 60 gigs. I've been cut off at 2???? My new phone has an issue with overload with ads that knock me out of everything. I did a reset which worked for a day, now ads all back. I'm paying 54$ a month for a broken phone that I only get 2 gigs of data!

  Welcome to the community!

 

  Sorry to hear your phone is being bombarded with ads. There are some decent ad-blockers available from Google Play which may help.

 

  With regards to your amount of available data, it is possible to have already reached your data allotment if you just activated services. You should note that your billing cycle would not usually start until a few days after you activate services. As such, any data allotments and monthly costs would be prorated for the few days before your billing cycle starts (see here). So, in theory, your daily allotment of data would be 60 GB ÷ days in month. In your case, that would calculate to roughly the amount of data you noted (1.94 GB).

 

  If you only have access to that amount of data, it's possible your billing cycle would start tomorrow and you should have access to the full 60 GB in your plan at that time.

 

  It should also be noted that first bills are of often higher than expected due to the inclusion of prorated fees for the first few days of service prior to the start of the billing cycle.
