Ive been doing quite a bit of research and at this point Im still not sure about the following.
Will an international version of Nokia Lumia 920 will work with FIdo LTE?
The bands of the Nokia lumia thats being sold unlocked online are: LTE 800 / 1800 / 2600 / 900 / 2100
Do all of these bands have to match fido's lte bands? or 2100 is enough?

Where can I check if my area(s) use(s) the 2600 Band 7 frequency? (Let's say Greater Vancouver.) The "Coverage and Roaming" page only lists "LTE".

Hello AM21,
No worries!
You can try a site like here. I can't vouch for it's accuracy, but in general, I think it's fairly current. Fido uses Rogers' towers so you can just choose those ones. 'Clicking' on individual towers will show which frequencies are used.

I am interested in OnePlus 2 China model, but not sure if it is compatible with fido
The specs are as follows:
GSM : 850、900、1800、1900
TD-SCDMA : B34、B39
TDD-LTE : B38、B39、B40、B41
WCDMA : B1、B2、B5、B8
FDD-LTE : B1、B3、B7
If not, what about north american model
The specs:
WCDMA: Bands 1/2/4/5/8
FDD-LTE: Bands 1/2/4/5/7/8/12/17

Welcome to the forums!
According to those specifcations, the Chinese model would have all of the bands/frequencies for 2G and '3G'.
With regards to LTE, that version would only have one of the compatible bands/frequencies, band 7 (2600MHz). So while it would work on the LTE network, coverage would depend on the bands/frequencies of the surrounding towers. You can verify the compatible bands/frequencies here.
Assuming the North American version also has the same GSM bands/frequencies as the Chinese version, then the North American version would have all of the bands/frequencies for 2G, '3G', and LTE. This version would be fully compatible with the Fido/Rogers networks.
Also, the phone would need to be unlocked in order for it to work on the networks.

hey there, going to buy an unlocked phone that supports these bands:
2G: GSM 900/1800/1900MHz
3G: WCDMA 850/900/1900/2100MHz
4G: FDD-LTE 1800/2100/2600MHz
Is this phone fine for Fido, and does it support the 4G LTE Fido offers?

Welcome to the forums!
According to those specifications, that phone has both of the compatible bands/frequencies for '3G' while only one of the the bands/frequencies for 2G.
With regards to LTE, that phone would also only have one of the compatible bands/frequencies (2600MHz).
While the phone would work on the Fido networks, coverage for 2G and LTE would depend on the bands/frequencies of the surrounding towers. You can refer here for the list of compatible bands/frequencies.

I checked for you and no, you will have a hard time with LTE...all I see is 2100Mhz network towers and no 2600Mhz.

Well, my usual disclaimer when I post a link to that website is that I cannot vouch for its accuracy. It's possible that there is a tower that transmits 2600 MHz, but I do think that getting LTE there with that phone would be rather unlikely.
With regards to the others, some of those towers transmit some the frequencies for 2G and/or '3G'. For example, see the following screen capture:
According to that site, that tower would transmit 850 and 1900 MHz on 2G, while only 850 MHz on '3G'. So coverage would still depend on where you were in the area.
Many mobile companies, Fido/Rogers included, refer to HSPA+ as 4G. So provided you were in an area of '3G' coverage, you could potentially get 4G.

Fido's 4G operates on the same bands/frequencies as 3G.
That phone has both of the compatible bands for '3G' (as did the phone you queried above). So yes, if your phone is able to connect with HSPA+, then it will be 4G. If it connects with HSPA, then it will be 3G.
**edit** One additional thing to consider is signal strength. Even though the area may be covered, if you're relying on a single frequency, signal strength may be an issue. The lower 850 MHz frequency would have a better penetrative ablility than the higher 1900 MHz frequency. So if you're only relying on 1900 MHz, reception indoors might be less reliable...

According to those specifications (assuming it's not the version from India) that phone would have all of the bands/frequencies for 2G and '3G'. With regards to LTE, that phone would also have only one compatible band/frequency, band 7 or 2600 MHz. You can verify the compatible bands/frequencies here. As with the other phone, it would work on the Fido/Rogers networks, but coverage would depend on the bands/frequencies of the surrounding towers.
The advantage this phone would have over the previous one you queried would be that this one has the additional compatible 2G band/frequency. However, it would also unlikely get LTE in your area.
If it is the version from India, then there would be no compatible bands/frequencies for '3G'.

Yes, the phone that is not from India should get 2G (EDGE), '3G' (HSPA (3G) and/or HSPA+ (4G)) and possibly LTE if there is a 2600 MHz tower in your area.
