I am writing to request clarification and dispute recent changes to my billing for mobile number *******2072. I voluntarily suspended my line starting January 22, 2025, under the assumption that I would be charged a reduced fee during the suspension. However, I noticed the following unexpected charges on my recent bill:
1. My regular $30 discount was removed after the suspension, increasing my monthly charge instead of lowering it.
2. I am still being charged $34.46 during suspension, which does not reflect the usual reduced-rate suspension policy.
3. An additional $7 suspension fee will be applied starting next month, bringing my total monthly charge to $81.96 instead of a lower rate.
I would like to understand:
Why was my $30 discount removed after suspending my line?
Why am I being charged more instead of less during the suspension?
Are there lower-cost suspension options available?
I kindly request that my discount be reinstated and that my suspension charges be adjusted to reflect a fair reduced-rate suspension. If this issue is not resolved, I may have to escalate my concern to the Office of the President or the Commission for Complaints for Telecom-television Services (CCTS).
Please review my case and provide a resolution at your earliest convenience. I appreciate your assistance.
Best regards
