Device discount got removed

I got the deal for the pixel 5 during black friday.

There's another new phone plan deal right now and I was told I could change to it

So I did it online but the confirmation shows that it removed the promotion discount for the device also ?

By "deal" do you mean that you've upgraded your phone back in November, during Black Friday?


If so, any changes to the purchase (price wise) can be done within our 15 days satisfaction guaranty. After that, you can either purchase a new phone at full price or opt out of your previous contract to finance a new phone.


As for price plan offers, limited time promotions such as discounts can be linked to the plan you currently have. In other words, by changing the plan, you can possibly lose the discount as well. This however, should not impact your device financement, unless you opt out of your contract.
