How do i block a number on a lg g stylo and a samsung galaxy s4

@Carissa3 To start, open the Phone app. Tap the 3-dot menu in the top right corner, and from the dropdown menu that appears select Call Settings > Call reject > Reject calls from. Select the Plus icon, and then add the number you'd like to block from the call log or your contacts.

The wording might change between phone and Android versions.

LG Stylo

1. Tap “Apps” while viewing the home screen
2. Go to “Settings” and tap “Call”
3. Tap “Call reject” > “Reject calls from”
4. Tap “+” and perform one of the following:
   
   • To block a contact: select the desired contact and tap “Done”
   • To block a number from the call logs: tap the call log entry > “Done”
   • To block a new number: enter the phone number and tap “Save”
