Acer Liquid E: No video

About a month ago my Liquid stopped playing video, YouTube displays an error message stating 'There was a problem while playing. Touch to retry'. This quickly spread to ALL video files of any type, BBC news, CBC, anything online. I've tried deleting and reinstalling YouTube, FlashPlayer, Android Froyo and updates, with no result. 

Probably unrelated but still a problem, the screen stopped rotating about a week ago. If anyone has experienced these problems and can help, it would be appreciated.

Have you been able to find a resolution to those issues since you posted on this thread?

It is really the first time that I hear of such a situation.

@ Community: Does anyone know how to resolve this? Has anyone experienced this before? Have you found a fix?
