Account Confirmation

Hi,

 

I am new to fido and I am waiting on my phone to come in but  I received an email for my new account confirmation saying that my phone number is now active along with a summary of my bill for each month. I don't understand why it says my phone number is now active when I don't even have my phone yet and  I don't want to start paying for something that I don't have yet.

 

Any information would be helpful.
