Hi,

It is surprising how tech support representatives are not aware of the offers available. I had to (866) 271-3436 number and the reps were arguing and giving misleading information about the available offers. The funny thing is that they changed their explanation and statements in the same phone call. I wish Fido would go and listen to the recording of my previous call and see how their employees may mislead the customers and lose them.

One more thing Fido has to fix in their website, when you chose to add line and select keeping your existing number, they will give you a temporary number to use while reverting to your existing number. However, it did not tell you or prevent you from using existing Fido number, which is a waste of time, energy and losing your current number.

I think Fido should do something regarding this.

Since I do not know what was discussed between you and the representatives and the offers that were made I can not offer much help other than advise you to speak with customer service or ask for a manager.

 

As for adding a new line and keeping your existing number that does not mean you can add a new line and keep your existing Fido number, adding a new line means it is entirely new to Fido, and keeping your existing number means you will be porting your number into Fido from another provider that's why they give you a temporary number to setup the line until your existing number from the other provider gets ported in.
