Port out from fido within 15 days of activation

I ported to fido couple weeks ago at best buy store and the representative put me on a wrong phone plan than what was promised. I realized this after receiving the first bill and bestbuy cancelled the phone plan and put me on BYOD and changed me a connection fee. 

If I port out from fido in next week or so and go back to my previous provider, how will the bill work? The main reason for porting to fido was due to the phone plan but the phone is returned.

Whenever you port out your final invoice will be pro-rated and you will only be charged for the days you had service. In your case your first invoice will be for the full amount which you would have to pay then you will receive your final invoice and you will receive a credit.


You should note that Fido refunds the credit via cheque but if you pay by card you can contact customer service and ask them to refund the credit to the card used to make the payment.
