i live in toronto and since about 3pm today i have been unable to access my voicemail. when dialing the call gets disconnected and "network busy" is the message i get. i am able to send and receive calls, it's just voicemail i'm having the problem with.
does anyone know if this has to do with the tower issues that someone already mentioned about?

i literally just got off the phone with a wonderful csr named anson. thank you for all your assistance fido stephen....it turns out they changed the voicemail number.
***the toronto voicemail number is now (647) 839-6134*** if your old number used to be the 4168221123 see if this works for you then program into your cellphones.
around 5pm i tried dialling voicemail by pressing and holding 1 (like usual), but this time instead of disconnecting me, the prompt was for rogers wireless voicemail asking me to enter my wireless number. when i did do that the prompts all of a sudden started only coming in french so i figured it was best to call 611 and figure out what's going on.
case solved!

I have a Samsung F266 phone. How do I go about changing the voicemail retrieval number to the one listed in the list provided in this forum? There is no option in the menu to change what number it dials when you hit the "1" button.
Thanks!
Neal

Problem has been resolved. I called FIDO and my voicemail had to be reset. The SIM card got updated with new voicemail access # and I can resume accessing the system by holding down the "1" key. Thanks FIDO!

Same problem for me for more than a day. Can't connect using my normal voicemail access number and get dead air and a "call failed", but am able to connect using the posted other/alternate numbers (useless as I can't log in there). Maybe its just the one number that's down?
