I placed an order for an upgrade of an Iphone XS Max last weekend (may 31) and received a confirmation email which says i should receive it within 2 business days. On thursday i still didnt receive a shipping email i decided to contact Fido and was told the order is being processed and probably will be shipped next day. Today when i contacted Fido i was told it is on backorder and there is unknown delay.
can they be fully out of stock forever, what will my options be if thats the case

In the case we cannot fulfill the order, you can either cancel it or choose another device tat is available. The availability of particular phones is subject to what the manufacturer can provide us with.
