I went abroad and turned off my roaming and cellular data on my Iphone I just wanted to make sure Im not going to get chaged now and why it still lets me call/text? Thank you

Texting does not count toward your data allotment. if you turn off data, you can still text because text is still a core phone function on the gsm network. you can also call too because only the data is off, the mobile network is still connected.
