Cancelled my service in March and returned equipment March 17th. I have phoned so may times I can't remember how many, have been told I was refunded then they agreed I never was, then told a check was sent, then it wasn't, then on July 19 was told a stop payment was issued on a previous check I never received and a new check would be sent in 3-4 weeks.
Still have not seen anything, has anyone had any success getting a refund by contact CRTC? For a company that inists on credit card payment it seems really odd that they can only issue refunds by check.

I have contacted Fido by phone (again). Once again I have received an email saying a stop payment will be put on the original cheque sent and a new cheque will be issued to me in 3-4 weeks. Unless there is something else you can do for me I will play the waiting game again.

Hello @CoT, you can contact customer service again since they are cancelling cheques and if you made your payments by card request they refund the money back to the card and see if that helps resolve this issue for you faster.
