Trying to add new line

Went to add new line.Picked plan and phone number. Already have device. But at end it said it would send me a sim card. Already got sim card from store. Can't I just put in sim card I have. Will I be charges for sim card?

A SIM card will be sent to you if you order through our website. However, you will not be charged for it, as this is for a new activation. Alternatively, you can request a PM from the community for assistance with that.
