I have two cell phone lines (BYOP) associated with my account. can I suppend one of them for couple of mounths?

To qualify for a temporary suspension a few criteria need to be met.
A temporary suspension can not be done online through self-serve on fido.ca, only a Fido representative can do it. You can reach out to customer support through any of the available methods listed here.
