HELLO!!!

 

I AM NEW WITH FIDO....

JUST ONE QUESTION: MY LOCAL IS MISSISSAUGA AND I AM IN HAMILTON SO THIS IS LOCAL OR LONG DISTANCE?

There is a nifty page on Fido.ca called the Local Calling Areas.  It will give you all the answers you need about local areas and then some.  Give it a try.  :robotwink:

since you are still on the fido/rogers network, it is NOT called roaming,  but since you are OUTSIDE of your calling area it is long distance.  it follows pretty much the same rules as your Bell landline does.  hamilton to call a mississauga number is LD.

since your physical location is in hamilton, you can use your phone to call within hamilton locally, (unless you have a zone based plan like city fido or urban fido, this does not aply)
