Roaming rate 50% off promotion

I got a text from Fido saying that for March 2024 (March 1 to 31) Fido is reducing the Roaming rates by 50% . Apparently it will apply automatically , not need to sign up. As  March break promotion.

Is this true or a fake text.

I have called Fido and chatted with an agent and both have said the have not heard about this promotion.

I checked again with Fido (Via chat) and they now confirmed that for March 2024 there is 50% promtion on the Fido Roam feature. If you go abroad (travel outside of Canada) you can roam for 50% less (50% of $12 rate  - USA or 50% -rest of the world).
Let's hope it holds true

Hi @Jawahar if you check your app, there may be something about that. Last year, Rogers and Fido offered one day of free roaming in March. Perhaps that will be repeated, as of now I cannot find any information on that. Keep checking your app.
