After reviewing the one retention option I was offered, I've decided its time to pull my services from Fido since 2005/04'. Currently freedom has "in market" plans better than the retention offer(s), and after reviewing their policies, costs of phones etc, its more economical sense to switch.
Having said, what's the procedure to move phone numbers over to other providers? I've called 611 to place a 30-day notice of disconnection on my account today, as I was taken back by the lack of retention given for subsidy vs non-subsidy plans on my account.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hello @disconnection,
Welcome to the community!
When you activate your line with Freedom just tell them you would like to port your number over and they will do it. Once done it will automatically cancel your Fido line.
You must keep your current number that you want to port active.
