My Galaxy A5 was working fine the past 2 years, then recently I started having this problem. In the middle of the phone call, the call becomes distorted or is disconnected. My son who is a fido customer doesn't have this problem on his Iphone. I've had this phone since 2017 and only started having this problem after 2 years. I also changed my SIM card with a new one. Please advise. Thanks

I had the same thing happen to me recently. My calls would drop in the middle of a call, when I'd make a call I'd get a failed call attempt, my voice would be distorted and disconnect and the most annoying thing was when I'd be talking to someone all of a sudden I couldn't hear them but they could still hear me.
After two separate phone calls to Fido support the problem was finally resolved. It was determined that my wifi calling was turned on. Is it possible you have this on as well?
