Outgoing call to Iran ends to music loop

Hi,

Whenever I make a direct outgoing call to Iran I hear a music. It is happening on my both of cellphones and also from my Fido wireless home phone. It doesn't matter which number I call and same thing happens.

This issue started  few days ago and I am not sure why. I did not make any changes to the account nor to the devices.

If I use a long distance calling  card then the calls will go through but not when calling the numbers directly from my devices. I am not sure if there are long distance calling blocks added to my lines.

Please advise.

Though it is odd that you're not able to join the international number.

Are you able to reach out to other international numbers, or do you get the same experience?

When you're dialling that international number, are you dialling like this? :

011 (Exit code for Canada) + country code + phone number
