I have a 13GB BYOP phone plan. Recently, Fido offered me an upgrade to Payment Program (35 GB) for about $10 more a month.
• If I were to upgrade, would I be locked into a contract term of any kind?
• If I were to upgrade, could I keep my existing phone (which I fully own)?
Answers would be greatly helpful.

Hello @SiB1,
You can definitely change your plan without financing a new device and continue to use your own.
It sounds like your current plan is not eligible for device finance but with the new plan you can finance a device if you want but you do not have to.
You will only be in a contract if you finance a device.
