I've tried adding a line from the website twice and it has confirmed that I've completed the process both time, but then I do not receive a confirmation email and do not see the new line on my account. Am I able to add lines online?

While it is possible to activate a new account on Fido.ca, 2nd line activations can only be done through customer service. You can reach us here, or if you prefer I can send you a PM to help you out with your activation.

added a line on fido.ca...same results do not wish to go thru cust service and get dinged for 40 dollar setup fee...any suggestions? previous attempt I was suggested to wait 4-5 hours ...been 12 hours now...
