I lost my SIM card and I’m overseas for summer break. My sim and phone are on a joint plan and when purchasing it I was 18, hence it was bought with my fathers information. How will I replace it? Do I need my fathers ID when retrieving it?  The problem is he does not live in Canada. Also, if I can’t get the same sim, can I get a new one and replace it with the old sim card on the plan?

Hello @Areeba. It's never easy to lose your phone or sim card.

If the sim card is registered on your father's account, he would need to contact Fido to have it replaced.

Also, once your sim card is replaced, your old sim card is automatically deactivated. You won't be able to use it again.

Let me know if this clarifies.
