I was sending text messages to my friend who was at the airport, and these were local texts but i sent 2 messages at the time when my friend turned off her phone so she didn't receive them yet. She will probably receive them once she reaches her destination over seas. Will I still be charged for these texts?
I have an unlimited texting plan.
I don't have any long distance text add on.

If your friend's number is Canadian, and you don't get charged when you usually text her, you don't have to worry, as to you, it is still a "local" text.
Your friend, however, will most likely have to pay when she receives the SMS overseas, as her telephone will be roaming, and that's one of the most expensive services for cell phones (I think it costs around $0.75 (75 cents) to receive a text while roaming overseas).
