Local Calling

My son has changed the mobile operator( Fido to Bell) without changing his phone number. The problem is  I can only send sms , but can not call him!

step 1, try to call and sms other people (non rogers/fido) carriers,

step 2: have your son do the same thing (non bell/virgin mobile) carriers.

That's definitely odd. What happens when you try to call your son? What's the error message you're getting? 

Is he able to receive calls from all other callers? 

Also, what did Bell say about him not being able to receive calls? Did he reach out for support?
