I recently ported out a Fido number on Jan8, and since I only had one line on my account, it turns out they cancelled that account. Shortly after I called to add a new Fido line, and I guess they created a whole new account in my name. However, I was surprised to notice a new Fido credit inquiry for this new account, given that I had just been a customer. Is it possible to have this credit inquiry removed?

A soft credit check is usually processed if you have ongoing services with us. That said, it can also be processed if you had prior services with us.
