Hi everyone - sorry for submitting yet another post about this; however, the current responses in the message boards give conflicting advice. Like many others, I received the post that stated I have received a text message and that I needed to reply with 'Yes' in order to subscribe to the service. Is this a legitimate message from fido, or is it SPAM?
If I replied 'Yes' and if it is SPAM, then what are my options? (unsubscribing from the fido service wouldn't do anything is it wasn't their message to begin with, correct?)
Thanks for the help!

Hello Yvr2yyz,
Welcome to the community!
Are you referring to receiving an email to your Fido number and receiving the email via text?
Fido does provide a service whereby emails sent to your phone's email address (ie phonenumber@fido.ca) were forwarded to your phone via SMS. Those text messages were sent from short codes starting with 305 (ie 305XXXXX)(see here).
Where did you see the conflicting information?
Hope this helps
Cheers
