Iphone unlock & repair

I have 2 iPhone that need to be unlocked. They were gifts. How much would it cost to have it done? Also were in Pickering would I fined a  trust worthy repair shop to fix the home button on a iPhone

Unlocking the iphone should be free of charge under CRTC's current ruling; however, they will need to be unlocked by the corresponding phone company (i.e. an iphone from Rogers will need to be unlocked by Rogers and not Bell).

With regards to iphone repair, I would only go to an apple store for repairs especially if the device is still under warranty. Others might have different recomendations. Of course if it is out of warranty, then it is a different situation.
