Hello, 

Just need to make sure. I need to use my sim card to only receive text messages for OTPS or PIN confirmations. I am currently overseas and need to confirm whether turning on my number abroad would incur any fees for roaming? 

Also, I was able to read another post that was similar but if someone were to confirm the below are correct to avoid any roaming fees that would greatly help.

Don't call your voicemail.

Those are all important points, indeed! You can find more tips for traveling with your Fido phone here. 

You can look up your destination in the tool here as well, to see if any fees are charged for incoming text messages.
