I just saw a posting stating Pixel now supports wifi calling in Fido. How does it work?

So how to set up Google Pixel with wifi calling? It has been 2 years since fido said to me that wifi calling will work for Pixel soon. I finally saw it on https://mobilesyrup.com/2017/12/04/fido-pixel-2-pixel-2-xl-receive-wi-fi-calling-support/

Is it true?

Hello @BasementOffice,

WiFi calling is available on the Pixel 2 as of the latest available update. Unfortunately WiFi calling is not supported on the original Pixel phone as yet.

You can get more info on WiFi calling here and here.

Hello BasementOffice,

You can get more information regarding Wifi-calling here.

This community member here, was able to get Wifi-calling to work on their Note 8 so it looks like Fido is now able to add IMEIs to their database!

Once you receive the December 2017 update, you might have to contact Fido customer service and have them register your phone's IMEI. Alternatively, you might send a PM to a moderator and have them register it for you.

Hope this helps Smiley

Cheers
