I am trying to update my new sim card. On the intructions its says to click "Update SIM card' but there I cant find this anywhere.

Do you have a prepaid or a postpaid account?
If you have a postpaid account just login the the MY ACCOUNT section on fido.ca click on the number you want to update the SIM for and on the next page at the very bottom in the QUICK ACTIONS section you will see the option to Update SIM Card.
If you have a prepaid account that function is not available and it can only be done by Fido.
KAPABLE-K is correct on this, but, I just wanted to clarify one point.
If you have a prepaid account, you will need to visit a Fido store to have your new SIM card activated. This is not something that can be done through a customer service rep.
Here I thought I was just being brain dead!
