How is my bill pro-rated if I port out my number

I am on a Fido plan which has 500 canada-wide minutes included. I am looking to port out of Fido as I am getting a better plan deal with Freedom. Wanted to know how the bill will be pro-rated if i switch over to Freedom before the end of the current billing cycle? Are the call minutes pro-rated as well? Or is it just the total bill amount that gets pro-rated?

To answer your question, your number will be cancelled on the date the port-out is completed. As a result, your final bill will be prorated in accordance with this date. The minutes may be prorated as well, but that would depend on the plan you have. To get a complete answer to that, we'd have to take a look at your account.
