Fido text message log

Hello Fido,

I wanted to know if Fido stores the date and time of text messages that are sent or recieved in their logs.

If so, how far back are these records kept?

I needed to get a court order to have access to these logs for a legal situation.

  Welcome to the community!

  While I cannot state for sure whether that information is kept for both sent and received messages, there is a certain amount of information that they retain. As far as I am aware, the records are kept for 90 days (see here).

  As mentioned, you would need to contact customer service. In addition, they can also be contacted via Live Chat, Facebook, or Twitter. Those methods can be accessed via the contact page posted above.

From the billing details Fido only logs the amount of text that was sent in that billing cycle and no other information. how long do they keep the logs I'm unsure you will need to contact customer service directly and they would be able to better assist you as this community forum is meant for customers to help each other and it is not a form of customer service.
