Hi,
I joined Internet 75 service and received a modem on 23rd Nov but I hasn't acivate my internet because my previous internet plan will cover me until 9th Dec.
However, when I got my first bill, Fido charged me since 23rd Nov. I cannot pay for what I didn't use.
I will activate and start to use my new internet plan from 10th Dec.

Welcome to the community!
Once you register for service your billing date starts from that date unless you specify you want the service to start at a specific date, so if you register and receive the modem your billing will start regardless of whether you use it or not.

Thank you for replying.
That's what the customer representative told me when I made a call. The thing is, I was willing to specify my starting date when I bought the internet service from Fido website, there was no instruction about it.
Anyway, the representative checked that I made no usage since I got the modem, she agreed to cover the period which I didn't make any internet usage with the good will credit.
Hopefully someone having a similar trouble with me would find this helpful.
