Fido Scam Call

I rently received a call from "Fido" from a Toronto number ***-***-4133. I've never received calls like this but had me concerned as the automated message was stating my phone number was about to be removed.

Has anyone else encountered this? As a biased person, the moment it said "Press 1 for English and 2 for Chinese" I considered it a scam call right away. Mainly because this is Canada and the second option would be French.

Wanted to ensure my phone number is not going to be removed.

Hi @Lole , that is definitely a scam. I get them , mostly in Chinese because of where I got my original number. They will try to scare you and convince you to give up your personal information. You can block them as a scam, but they are cloning legitimate numbers from innocent people. All I can say is click on nothing and give fido a call if you confirmation. Here  are some of the ways to contact Fido's support
