Hi again @DavidQuijas , that is curious indeed. As we are a community forum helping each other out, all account queries have to go to fido support. As I suggested above, reach out to fidosolutions on Twitter and they will do their best to help you figure it out. You can also reach out by other means listed Here  I truly hope this gets solved

Why doesn't have dislike button ?

Hi there @DavidQuijas , I wasn't aware that you were able to make calls through Instagram. Who knew? I'm wondering if you had wifi calling turned on when you made the call. Not sure if that has anything to do with it,  but when I make a call over wifi, it gets charged as carrier calling. I've never been charged with what's app , but we should check our settings for using Instagram. Having had my thoughts about this "out loud", I believe you may want to contact fido support by dialing *611 from your device or maybe contact fidosolutions on Twitter and request assistance and clarification on the billing. Let us know what the resolution is and I'll do the same if I figure it. Cheers

last Monday 07th current month , I made a long distance phone call through Instagram call service  ( like I use to, isn’t the first time ) the next day Tuesday 09th” got fido text message with the following info:

Hi, it’s Fido! As of 11:59pm ET yesterday, you have incurred $42.5 of long-distance charges for calls to international locations, for the mobile number 236 (my Mobil phone number)
Want to save on long-distance in the future? Add our Preferred International Rates add-on through My Account on fido.ca to get a preferred rate to over 200 countries! (selling)

How’s is possible fido is charging for this call, Instagram is a 3rd party calling service using wifi or any case data not a plan service line that I’m paying for .

Then on Tuesday 09th (yesterday) decided went through the messenger Facebook to clarify what is going on ,sent my question and the messenger

attendant answered :

“It’s very likely due to the fact that your phone numbers linked in some way to their services and the long distance call has gone through the normal network “.

How’s that possible that he’s guessing saying “ITS VERY LIKELY “you ought know the punctual info ¿who has the terms and conditions ?

Below same message also wrote

It’s good to know that we do not support calling through 3rd party applications. ( some might work, while other won’t we aren’t able to confirm how they routing how they’re touting their communications )

Then he continues with.:

It’s good to know that we do not support calling through 3rd party applications. ( some might work, while other won’t we aren’t able to confirm how they routing how they’re touting their communications )

At this point I could say what kind of mobile network are you ? Again guessing? “We aren’t able to confirm how they routing” ? You ought know terms and conditions , so who knows the info then ?

After this the attendant was offered a preferred long distance ( issue not solved and trying to sell again)

Today by the morning made fido phone call , this time attendant said he cannot do anything cus the billing is not issued yet that I have to wait until the account requires the payment , he couldn’t see the long distance call charge on my account ( it doesn’t make sense doesn’t smell good)

Afterwards other attendant wrote on messenger :

Sometimes, a call made through Wi-fi or VoIP call app (such as Instagram, iMessenger, Viber, etc .) does not go through properly due to a number of possible reasons. When this happens and the app uses your mobile number , the calls is istead routed through the regular voice calling system and are treated as regular voice calls and are subject to applicable charges…..
I recommend reaching out to Instagram customer support to see if it is possible threat this was indeed the case for the call in question

Guessing then blaming Instagram ?

I demand fido send me official terms and conditions explaining this above.
