Do I receive text messages to my fido number if I am overseas?

I am about to travel abroad. i am wondering if I still receive text messages to my fido number if I am overseas?

I use the roam service in my phone plan

  Welcome to the community!

  In addition to what has already been mentioned, you might consider verifying whether your plan includes roaming. As far as I am aware, the Data & Text plans are only available on the Fido/Rogers networks. Roaming is not available with those types of plans. As such, those plans would not receive text messages while abroad.

Providing your destination is covered by the Fido Roam and your device is compatible with the network there your services should work.
