Data roaming fee while connecting to WiFi

Hi Fido, I switched to my Fido SIM card while connecting to WiFi in Japan, but forgot to turn off data roaming for a while. Will this incur the one day roaming charge? I got the roaming text message but I did not make or receive phone calls or send text messages. Thank you.

Incoming text messages will not trigger the roaming feature, as long as you did not make or receive calls, send a text or use data you should be fine.
