Hi,

I will be going on a cruise this year and according to the documentation:  " passengers' phone providers must have an agreement with Maritime Communications Partner in order to get service."

I've searched the cruise site, the Maritime Communications Partner site as well as this Fido site and I haven't been able to confirm if Fido has an agreement with them.  Can someone confirm?

Thanks!

Hi @ccurran

You'll be able to use your phone while on the cruise ship. You'll be billed at the premium rate though. Check out the rates here

Hope that helps!

Thanks!

So, you're saying Fido is a partner?  I assume so since you said I'll be able to use my phone!

That's right! Very_Happy

@ccurran If i'm not mistaken I believe it works like this, when you are on land and connected to a local tower you will be roaming but when you are on the ship the ship will bill Fido their rates and then Fido will bill you.
