Hi Albert1956, if you happen to win the Samsung package you would be notified in the app messages and maybe by email., i'm not 100% on the email. Then you would be given a mathematical skill testing question to confirm that you are indeed a winner. Then I believe you will be confirmed and told when to expect the delivery. Hello @albert1956 , so they are trying to schedule a delivery for you. Yay! Who is the company calling you? Is it a courier service or Fido? If you can find out who is calling you, you can probably call back to find out the delivery date. Was there a number showing on your call display, or a name of the person calling you? Is your home number the contact number or is it your mobile? If it's your home number then you can try call forwarding to your mobile so you don't miss the call again. If there's nothing indicating where the call is coming from, I would contact Fido by calling *611 and speak with a service representative and ask them if they know how to contact the delivery company. How can I arrange delivery when no one from FIDO can give me the name and number to call to get this done.
I called 611 talked to at least 6 specialists but they can not help me.
You would think that a phone company knows why we pay for voicemail. I got one message to arrange delivery, no number no name no way to respond at all. One 611 specialists said I have answer the phone. When I Court can you have your phone on? Driving out of cell service area? I told all of them I needed a contact. Not one so far has helped. One told me Samsung was doing the delivery on this. She gave me the number to get this done. I called. Samsung had no idea what I was talking about. Every time you call 611 you get a different Specialists that cant helps me to get a contact.
This is ongoing now for over 2weeks
When you leave a voicemail would you not leave a message including a way to respond?
Good morning @albert1956 , sorry that you haven't been able to connect up with the delivery service yet. I don't know what else to suggest except to wait for them to call again.Is there anyway you can call forward your phone to a friend or relative to take the call for you if you are not available for calls? Congratulations @albert1956 , it definitely looks legit. It's in your Fido app and now you have to wait for shipping notification. It could take up to 12 weeks, but hopefully not likely. Patience is now your friend. 😉 I won a contest a couple of years ago for a weekend at a resort and didn't receive my certificate until the week before it had to be used. A little stress there.
Fortunately there's no expiry on your prize, it's just waiting for coordinating the shipping or redemption. I believe that there were 8 packages awarded and the anticipation will be crazy making.
So stay calm and keep excited.
One other thing to consider is the delays in supply chains due to the last year and a half of covid. There's a lot of things that have been affected by shortage of metal, computer chips, pvc, sheet metal, etc. So fingers crossed that it won't be too long.
