Charged for long distance call within Canada

Is there a reason for the long distance charge to be added when I'm calling from alberta to a fido customer service agent in Manitoba? I have canadawide free calls.

You shouldn't be charged for calling customer service especially if you have free Canada-wide minutes, I would suggest you reach out to customer service directly and they can go over your account and better help you.
