Cannot access voice mail while roaming in Dominican Republic

My wife and I are in the Dominican Repblic and all numeric prompts get rejected by Fido.  The PIN to access voice mail, our phone number when calling customer service.  This all worked when we were roaming in the US and Europe.

Well for some magical reason it worked while I was on the phone wih a Fido representative.  😉
