I ordered a phone almost 5 weeks ago. It's backordered apparently and after at least 10 calls to fido, I have received a different answer every time and no real help. I keep asking to speak with a manager and my case keeps being closed. I want to cancel the order and reorder the same phone with less storage. But now I can't get the same promotions I had at the time if I cancel the order. So they tell me to just wait. AFTER ALMOST 5 WEEKS ALREADY. If this cannot be rectified I will be taking my business to Telus where they prioritize and listen to their customers.

Sorry to hear you did not get your device yet with all the shortages that have been happening getting devices are taking way longer than usual. I understand you want to cancel your order and place a new one for a device that is ins stock. Unfortunately, if the promotion is not available or is not available for the new device then it will not be able to be applied. I understand it's no fault of yours that the device is back ordered but it's in Fido's best interest to get you the device as soon as possible I would suggest giving it a bit longer and they will come through.
