Call from Rogers (allegedly)

Will Rogers call you for any reason and not leave a voicemail, when my account is in good standing so they're not chasing a payment or there was something else wrong with my account?

Got what i feel is a spoof call yesterday and today, didn't answer either. No voicemail. No emails about anything weird....

I'd block it except for what if actual Rogers needs to call me?

Anyone else getting these?

Good morning @Advocate4Change , you have good reason to be suspicious these days. Unless you have an account with Rogers,  I would ,personally,  ignore or block it. Fido is the company that manages our accounts and sometimes they text or email to offer a special or promo thay you can verify by going to the app and viewing any offers that may be active. Stay vigilant as the scammers are persistent, if nothing else.

I do have the Rogers MasterCard as well, which I was pre approved for via my Fido account a number of months ago, but that account is paid and in good standing too...

It called again earlier today so that's 4 days in a row, with no message. I did block it temporarily yesterday just to see if they would leave one without a ring, but still nothing. Not even one of those quiet nothing messages.

It makes no sense 🤔

Goof morning @Advocate4Change , yes, I have a rogers card also. They never call and if they want to offer me a balance increase, that's all they ever contact me for, is by text or email. If you have the Rogers bank app,  you will see any message or offers in there. It's also handy for checking your transactions and statements. Stay skeptical 😉
